Library
The Vern and Roberta Donzero Library is staffed by the Librarians, students and volunteers. Books may be checked out for a reasonable time for study purposes. An Articulation agreement with the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg makes their library with its extensive collection of Judaic studies available to our students. There are similar agreements with St. Petersburg College, the University of South Florida, Florida Center for Theological Study (Miami), and the Library Resources of Eckerd College.
The Seminary’s library provides nearly 30,000 volumes in addition to its periodicals and other media resources. Among the contributions to the Seminary is the Whitlock Collection, given in memory of the Reverend Carlos Whitlock, who served as a Presbyterian minister for sixty years, the Jack Sanderson Collection (Christian Education), given in honor of the United Methodist minister who most recently served the Pasadena Community Church (St. Petersburg). Dr. Basil Jackson, the Reverend Orville Wilson, the Northeast Presbyterian Church and Reverend Phillip Germaine, Edward Humphries, former Executive Presbyter of the current Presbytery of Tampa Bay, John Ferguson, Anne Murphy, and many others have all provided many volumes to the library. Access to other sources is made possible through the Internet.
