St. Petersburg Theological Seminary was founded in 1983 to provide an opportunity of study for persons already engaged in ministry but lacking the educational foundation to serve at their best. The Seminary’s trans-denominational stance allows us to offer training to persons of any Christian denomination or Messianic Jewish group. By offering courses based on solid biblical scholarship, students are equipped with the tools necessary for ministry in every faith that honors Jesus (Yeshua) as Messiah and Lord.
In 1998, Rabbi Dr. John Fischer, with the Seminary since the beginning, founded Netzer David International Yeshiva to train leadership for Messianic congregations. The Yeshiva operates within the academic structure of the Seminary, now under the combined name, St. Petersburg Seminary and Yeshiva.
Since the Seminary has never sought any denominational affiliation or support, it depends for its operation on tuition income, not enough in itself, and on donations from the Seminary’s friends.
We invite you to consider participating in the Seminary’s continuing ministry of training those whom the Lord is calling into His service, by making a financial contribution as the Lord may show you.
Since the Seminary is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization, all contributions are tax exempt. Contributions may be made through the Seminary’s PayPal account by using this button. Thank you for your generous support.
